FEMME MAG is a female-focused publication, documenting youth culture through a feminist lens. Providing content that is engaging, thoughtful and reflective of the Nigerian woman’s interests, FEMME MAG is a necessary, long overdue, voice for women, by women, in a media landscape that under-represents our stories.
What We’ve Done
Since we launched in 2020, during the most seismic social-cultural shift our generation has seen, FEMME MAG has covered the #EndSars protests, collaborated with creative agency A Vibe Called Tech for Akwaeke Emezi’s book launch, hosted a variety of women-only events and more.
Staying true to our mission to empower women to seek out their rights – in social affairs, political, and economic – FEMME MAG has continuously been a platform that champions honest conversations. None of our achievements over the years would have been possible without our community. From the creatives we commission, to the small businesses we promote, from the rising artists we platform, to the disenfranchised communities we support. From the party-goers who consistently show up for us, to our online audience that just can’t get enough, FEMME MAG is proud to play such an integral role in the empowerment of Nigerian women, and we’d cherish the opportunity to do more.
How Can You Support us?
As an independent small business, FEMME MAG is committed to staying authentic and retaining our integrity. However, as we grow, we are going to need some support to ensure that FEMME MAG can continue all the work we do. So, today, we are asking you to invest in the future of FEMME MAG and the futures of all the talented, driven and deserving women that have found a haven in us.
Together with you all, we have curated this safe space for women to build the future we’re entitled to.
